Institute for Curriculum and Pedagogy

The Institute for Curriculum and Pedagogy is engaged in training and research in curriculum and pedagogy, and is one of the most comprehensive academic centers in the field of curriculum and pedagogy in China. The main research focuses include pedagogy theory, curriculum theory, curriculum and pedagogy of all disciplines of primary and secondary education. Under the leadership of famous scholars like Wang Cesan and Pei Dina, the Institute attaches importance to the construction of basic theories, tries to solve important practical problems, develops modern curriculum and pedagogical theory based on the principles of pedagogical epistemology, and carries out thematic educational experiments. Up to now, works like A Collection of Pedagogical Theories, Pedagogic Epistemology, Contemporary Pedagogic Theories (3 volumes), Problems in Curriculum Theories etc. were published, which have won various national and provincial awards.
