The party was a visual and auditory feast with various activities, like cross talks, sketches, plays, dances and songs. International students played Beijing Opera and guitar which attracted a lot of attention. The dubbing play the Faculty Version of Legend of Zhen Huan which vividly expressed the mixed feeling of writing the thesis resonated among the students and brought constant burst of laughter. Later, a series of pop songs led the party to a climax. Guang Chen, a faculty member at the School of Education Technology, gave each graduate a hug when they were singing the Song of Youth.

Many interesting awards presented for individuals and groups were warmly welcomed by students, such as the award for student who could spend most of his/her time in dormitory and the award for the class which always kept a low key. The microfilm If I Had My Life to Live Over flashed back upon the past four years, which moved all of the students present.
