BNU Ranks 24th in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021 Published:2021-03-18 17:20:03  Views:10

Widely known university ranking experts QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) have released their latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021 on March 4th. BNU continues to demonstrate excellence in the field of education, ranking 24th in the world and No.1 in mainland China. BNU has been placed on the list within the top 30 for three straight years.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021 cover a total of 51 disciplines, grouped into five broad subject areas. The QS Subject Rankings score universities around the world on their per Academic Reputation (40%), Employer Reputation (10%), Faculty/Student Ratio (20%), Citations per faculty (20%), and International Faculty Ratio & International Student Ratio (5%).

The Faculty of Education achieved an overall score of 80, scoring strongly on all the criteria, coming as 78.5 on H-index citations, 79.8 on citations per paper, 82 on academic reputation, and 73.8 on employer reputation.

QS provides universities with unique insights into their position in the rankings and their strengths and weaknesses. FOE has improved its ranking considerably over the years, which testifies to the achievements FOE has made in its overall development, cultivation of talents, academic research, social service, and engagement.
