The EU-CHINA DOC Conference and Workshop took place from May 2-4, 2016 in Stockholm University, Sweden. This is the fifth conference of the Erasmus Mundus Project, focusing on the topics of Multi-disciplinary and Cross-border Cooperation in Doctoral Education. 13 universities from China and Europe attended this conference. Professors Liu Meifeng and Shi Kecan and Director of Teaching Affairs Huang Xin from the Faculty of Education (FOE) participated in the conference.

Aimed at enhancing the visibility of European Higher Education and strengthening the dialogue and cooperation with Chinese stakeholders in the field of doctoral education and training, the EU-China DOC Conference brought together higher-level experts and relevant stakeholders from China and Europe to exchange their views on multidisciplinary and cross-border cooperation, their experience from trials and errors, and their ideas about EU-China higher education cooperative mechanism and development models. On behalf of Beijing Normal University, Professor Liu Meifeng from FOE gave a report on Experience and Reflections on Multidisciplinary and Cross-border Cooperation in Doctoral Education at Beijing Normal University at the conference, in which she shared the general goal for preparing students and multi-disciplinary situation at FOE and cross-border efforts made by FOE.
