The 6^th BNU-Kyoto University Doctoral Forum was held successfully on Nov. 23^rd in Beijing. The theme this year was Internationalization of Education in Asia. The forum attracted twelve students of Kyoto University and Beijing Normal University (BNU), who came from Japan, China, Taiwan, Mongolia and Canada. They shared their research and had stimulating discussions on the topic.

Prof. Koyasu Masuo, Dean of the Graduate School of Education, expressed his thanks to BNU for hosting this doctoral forum, which built up a platform for students from different countries to understand each other and to share their academic outcomes.

On 24^th Nov., a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Faculty of Education BNU and School of Education Kyoto University was signed. Dean Prof. Shi Zhongying from FOE gave a remark in retrospect of China–Japan academic exchanges in the last century and wished we could understand each other more with the help of upcoming academic events under the structure of this MOU.
