On the morning of October 30^th, the grand ceremony of the 2^nd Mingyuan Education Award took place at Beijing Normal University (BNU) where guests included Prof. DONG Qi, who is the president of BNU and the president of Gu Mingyuan Educational Research and Development Foundation (the Mingyuan Foundation), Prof. ZHONG Binglin, who is the chairman of The Chinese Society of Education, Distinguished Professor GU Mingyuan, who is also an honorary life president of the Mingyuan Foundation, and over 200 domestic and international experts, scholars and front-line educators. President DONG Qi and Chairman ZHONG Binglin gave remarks. Prof. Henry Levin from Teachers College at Columbia University and Prof. Ruth Hayhoe in the Department of Leadership, Higher and Adult Education at University of Toronto received the Mingyuan Education Award for Overseas Outstanding Contribution to China Education Research.
