Du Yuhong, Professor at the Faculty of Education, Beijing Normal University, Dean of the School for Future Education, Dean of Leyu Academy, and Chief Expert of the Capital Education Economy Research Base.

He is a Distinguished Professor of the National Major Talent Program, an Expert of Special Government Allowances from the State Council, a New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education, and a Jingshi Distinguished Professor.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Education Economics Branch of the Chinese Society of Education, President of the Financial Management Research Association of Normal Universities, Director of the Editorial Board of Chinese Educational Economics Review, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Education and Economy, and Member of the Editorial Board of Educational Finance and Accounting Research. Previously, he held positions including Chief Accountant of Beijing Normal University, Director of the Finance Department, Vice Dean of the School of Educational Administration, and Vice Director of the Primary School Principal Training Center of the Ministry of Education.

His main research areas focus on educational economy, educational policy, and school management. He has presided over more than 30 projects , such as major projects of the National Social Science Fund and major research projects on philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. He has published over 20 academic works and translations, and has published more than 150 papers or consulting reports in journals including Educational Research, Management and Journal of Beijing Normal University.

He has successively won more than 10 National level awards, including the First Prize of National Excellent Achievements in Educational Science, the First Prize of Beijing Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, and the Second Prize of Excellent Achievements in Scientific Research in Institutions of Higher Education.
