    Personal Profile

    Yao Ying,graduated from the College of Letters of Beijing Normal University with a doctorate degree in literature, joined the College of Education (now the Faculty of Education) of Beijing Normal University in 2006, and served as a lecturer, an associate professor, and a tutor for master's students. Now, she is the executive director of the Traditional Culture Education Research Branch of the Chinese Education Society, the executive director of the Qigong Art Research Society, a member of the Expert Group of the MAB National Committee, and an academic member of the Primary School Language Teaching Committee of the Chinese Education Society, etc. She is mainly engaged in teaching and research work related to children's reading and language education, traditional culture education, and language curriculum and pedagogy. She has published more than ten monographs and edited teaching materials, presided over a number of national, provincial and ministerial-level projects, and published more than 40 academic papers in various journals.

    2. Participated in the 18th WALS World Classroom Congress 2018, and chaired the special panel 'Teaching and Learning with Interdisciplinary Picture Book Curriculum and Teacher Professional Development'.

    3. Organizing and planning the 1st to 8th National Symposium on Picture Book Curriculum and Teaching in Primary Schools from 2016-2023, as a keynote speaker.
