On April 7th, 2022, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world’s higher education research institution, released the 2022 QS World University Rankings by Subject. The education disciplines of more than 1,300 colleges and universities around the world entered the evaluation. The Chinese mainland has 6 universities entered the Education & Training list. BNU continues to demonstrate excellence in the field of education, ranking 28th in the world and No.1 in mainland China. BNU has been placed on the list within the top 30 for four straight years.
In this year’s world university education subject ranking, QS continues to use the original four evaluation indicators, namely: Academic Reputation (50%), Employer Reputation (10%), Citations Per Paper (20%) and H-Index (20%).
The Faculty of Education achieved an overall score of 77.2, scoring strongly on all the criteria, coming as 81.1 on academic reputation, 66.4 on employer reputation, 76.3 on citations per paper, and 73.8 on H-index citations. Among the 28 disciplines that BNU has entered into this ranking, education has contributed the most to the school’s reputation votes.
The QS World University Rankings are globally influential and are currently the most viewed world university rankings in the world. FOE has entered the forefront of the international rankings, which reflects the improvement of teachers and students’ international vision, cross-cultural communication ability, and academic platform construction.
