Holding Hands:Family, Childcare,
and Community Efforts toSupport Child Development
Families, childcare centres, and communities create the primary
social-cultural arena for young children’s development. It is crucial for
parents, teachers, and other educational practitioners to achieve a sense of
shared responsibility and a common vision, which can establish a strong
cornerstone for the provision of quality education and care. The SEED (Study of Early Education and Development)
conference theme, Holding Hands: Family, Childcare, and Community Efforts to
Support Child Development, aims to shed light on the important roles of family,
childcare, and community in early childhood education and development.
Academics, researchers, and practitioners in early childhood education and
development from around the world are warmly invited to participate in this
international conference at Beijing Normal University. The conference provides
an international forum for professionals to explore and exchange ideas, making
joint efforts to support child development.
