From April 8th to 12h, a delegation from FOE attended the 2016 American Education Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting and participated in a joint reception held by The University of Hong Kong and Beijing Normal University.
The year 2016 is the 100-year anniversary of AERA. The 2016 Annual Meeting was hosted in Washington D.C. The theme was Public Scholarship to Educate Diverse Democracies. Nine faculty members and three graduate students from the Faculty of Education, BNU presented their papers on 10 sessions. They also received a lot of inspiration and stimulation through participating in such a large gathering of scholars in the field of education research.
On the 10th evening, School of Education The University of Hong Kong and FOE hosted a joint reception, which attracted more than 200 professors and students from around the world. The joint reception disseminated the FOE academic achievements, expanded BNU’s oversea influence, promoted partnership with a legion of academic institutions and enhanced friendship with foreign scholars.
