The 1st BNU-QUT-UoC Doctoral Forum was held successfully from Dec.16^th to 20^th in Beijing. The forum attracted 8 students from Beijing Normal University (BNU), 5 students from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and 5 students from University of Calgary (UoC).

The theme of this year’s forum is Educational Reform in International Contexts: Australia, China and Canada. 18 PhD students shared their research and had stimulating discussions on the topic. Moreover, they came to Jingshi Experimental Primary School to experience Chinese classroom. During the 5 days of communication, students from BNU, QUT and UoC broadened each other’s horizons as well as their understanding.

This is the 10^th year of BNU-QUT doctoral forum and also the 1^st year of BNU-QUT-UoC Doctoral Forum with the joining of University of Calgary. It is believed that with the deepening of the international communication, the doctoral forum also will continue to grow.
