Faculty of FOE, BNU Taking Part in “NPC &CPPCC” to Propose Valuable Advice to National Education RefPublished:2015-03-26 14:54:25 Views:10Recently, NPC &CPPCC have successfully concluded. Prof. Pang Lijuan, member of standing committee of NPC and Executive Director of China Institute of Education Policy, Prof. Zhong Binglin, CPPCC Member and Director of Institute of Higher Education, and Prof. Liu Yan of Institute of Early Childhood Education from Faculty of Education (FOE), BNU took part in “NPC &CPPCC”. Being enthusiastic and conscientious, the three deputies and committee members from FOE prepared for the proposals carefully and actively made speeches at the meeting, so as to propose valuable advice to hot and difficult problems of education and to contribute wisdom to the reform and development of education in China. The deputies and committee members submitted one or several proposals to the conference, among which were “Proposal on Further Improving Education Policy on Free Charge Normal Students” by Prof. Pang Lijuan, “Proposal on Accelerating Modern Vocational Education” by Prof. Zhong Binglin, and “Strengthening Administration on Institutions of Early Childhood Education at the Age of 0~3” by Prof. Liu Yan. These proposals and suggestions fully demonstrated the sense of mission of the deputies and committee members of FOE. The suggestions proposed by the deputies and committee members got great attention from related departments and aroused extensive social concern. The proposal on strengthening faculty team by Prof. Pang Lijuan was adopted by 'Government Work Report' drafting group. The drafting group wrote back to Prof. Pang to express their thanks. In the letter, the drafting group pointed out: “your proposal on strengthening faculty team has been adopted. We have studied the proposal on increasing measures on promoting equitable development and quality improvement of education”, and in the future, we would pay close attention to related work. The proposals and suggestions proposed by deputies and committee members of FOE aroused extensive attention of news media in China. “CCTV News”, “People’s Daily”, “Guangming Daily”, “Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference News”, “China Education”, “China Science”, “China Youth News”, “Nanfang Daily”, “Beijing Daily”, “Jinghua Times”, “Beijing Evening News”, Xinhua Net, People’s Daily Online, Guangming Net, CPPCC Net, China Network, Chinese Government Network, China Education News Network, Netease Education, PhoenixNet, Xinmin Net, China Court Net, China Social Science Network reported and reprinted them.
